デザイン・リサーチ・リードを務める。自身が多様な人種のバックグラウンドを持つことから、常に人に対する好奇心があり、異なる文化的コンテクストが、人の考え方、行動、習慣に与える影響に興味を持つ。特に日本特有の要素を分析し、文化的インサイトを発見することに力を入れており、その学びをクライアントやチームへ共有したいと考える。Flamingoにて７年間勤務した経験を持ち、美容、ベビー用品、ファッション、クルーズ船など幅広い分野にたずさわってきた。 ユニヴァーシティ・カレッジ・ロンドンにて社会人類学および地理学の学士号を取得。関西出身。
Sayuri is a Design Research Lead at IDEO Tokyo. Coming from a mixed race background, she has always shown curiosity in people and how different cultural contexts inform mindsets, behaviors and customs. She is particularly passionate about going deep into analysis, unearthing cultural insights unique to Japan to inform and inspire clients and teams. Prior to IDEO, Sayuri spent 7 years at Flamingo, working on a wide range of categories from beauty, baby products, fashion to cruise ships.
Sayuri has a BA in Social Anthropology and Geography from University College London and hails from the Kansai region of Japan.
