IDEO Joins the kyu collective

IDEO has joined the kyu collective, a group of diverse creative companies committed to addressing the most significant challenges facing business and society.

kyu is the strategic operating unit of Tokyo-based Hakuhodo DY Holdings, one of the leading creative groups in the world. IDEO will join the current members of kyu, including SYPartners, Sid Lee, Digital Kitchen, C2 International, and Red Peak Group. Each are celebrated creative firms and leaders in their respective fields.

kyu is a new model for creative collaboration, unique in its structure and purpose. The companies within the collective are strategically curated and deliberately limited in number. Each company operates independently to drive positive impact in its own area of focus and specialization. To tackle more systemic challenges, kyu companies come together to invent, make, prototype, and design in joint efforts that align deep networks of collaborators.

IDEO will continue to be owned and independently managed by its partners. kyu is making a minority investment in IDEO.
